Midsize Sedan Price Comparisons

September 13, 2012

My friend Michael Karesh, who runs the site TrueDelta.com (great car buying site, check it out), put out a blog post this week comparing the real price-to-value factor between cars in the "mid-size family sedan" segment.

The "price-to-value" factor basically compares cars based on the equipment that comes with each model and trim level. Some vehicles are better equipped than others, and if you simply compare the MSRP, you're not getting the full picture.

The mid-size family sedan is the most competitive segment in the market which includes the best-selling car, the Toyota Camry. That's the vehicle he used as the default vehicle to compare all others. Check out the results below and be sure to use CarWoo to get the best deals on these vehicles.

My Recommendation for Car Shoppers

TrueCar No-Haggle, CarsDirect, and NADAGuides are the quickest way to see the lowest car prices in your area. These sites show you no-haggle prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually really good. This should be the first step you take when negotiating your car price. Follow this up with my checklist to make sure you squeeze out every last bit of savings.
